On Dec. 5 at the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) in Port Elgin, Bruce Power proudly presented Early Childhood Education students with scholarships to help with costs associated with their Fanshawe College (Bruce County) programs.

In August, Bruce Power announced it was offering $5,000 scholarships for up to 10 students enrolled in Early Childhood Education programs at Fanshawe College (Bruce County) and Georgian College.

Fanshawe College’s part-time accelerated diploma program is being taught at the college’s Huron/Bruce Regional Site at the NII, and is designed to draw more people into the field of Early Childhood Education with hopes they’ll then work locally to help ease the shortfall of childcare workers in Bruce County.
