Bruce Power and supplier partners make donation to Childcan to help in the fight against childhood cancer

Bruce Power and its supplier partners have made a $20,000 donation to Childcan, which prioritizes childhood cancer care, funds innovative research, and expands family supports.

“With childhood cancer on the rise, it’s important that we do what we can to help Childcan fulfill its mission of raising awareness and providing personalized programs and services to families who are on the childhood cancer journey,” said Pat Dalzell, Bruce Power’s Vice-President of Corporate Affairs and Market Development. “By strengthening health systems and streamlining early identification, treatment and post-treatment care, Childcan helps families through every stage of the process with compassionate care.”

“It is the stories of courage, resilience, and hope that shape who we are,” said Suzanne Fratschko Elliott, Executive Director of Childcan. “The generous support from Bruce Power and its suppliers amplifies our ability to respond swiftly and provide crucial support where it’s needed most. Their commitment strengthens our mission, and saying we are grateful doesn’t begin to capture how deeply this impacts the families we serve.”
