This year’s Earth Week theme is Our Power, Our Planet and the museum is offering video presentations by guest experts at the Lake Huron Coastal CentreNuclear Innovation Institute, and Grey Sauble Conservation.

Each video is accompanied by a challenge/activity that students and families can try in the classroom or at home. This year a Jeopardy-style digital game is also available to test your energy knowledge.

Earth Week 2025 connects to the Conservation of Energy and Resources strand of Ontario’s Grade 5 Science and Technology curriculum.

“Earth Week is all about the importance of protecting our planet and sharing how everyone can take action. We’re proud to offer fun, educational programming that helps students connect with the environment and learn about conserving energy and resources,” said Lauren Beer, Education and Outreach Coordinator at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.
