Community Information Session November 19

Bruce Power is holding a community information session on November 19, from 1-4 p.m., at the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre, as it continues to advance early engagement with local Indigenous communities and the public on a potential Bruce C expansion to add new nuclear generation at Bruce Power.

The come-and-go open house will feature presentations from James Scongack, Bruce Power’s Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President of Operational Services, at 1:15 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., with site bus tours running post-presentation at 2, 2:30 and 3 p.m.

Attendees will also have the chance to talk to people who work in a wide variety of departments within Bruce Power including Operations, Maintenance, Environment, Medical Isotopes, Emergency Services, Radiation Protection, and more!

There will also be food and refreshments and the opportunity to tour the company’s Emergency Management Centre.

Pre-registration for the event is not required, but if you’re interested in a bus tour of site, we do ask that you sign up below. Please note: All bus tour participants must provide original, government-issued identification. No cell phones, cameras or bags/purses are allowed on the bus tour.
